So, you may know of Ouya keyboard problems with native activities, where you can call showSoftInput and the keyboard never shows up. Well, I just tried copied fetchGamerUUID from the IAP sample, called it from the game. When I call fetchGamerUUID, it brought up a system dialog asking for a username and password... well guess what. The keyboard never shows up there either when selecting a text box for entry. This means that when I do IAP next week some time I will also be likely blocked at selling things as nobody will be able to enter text either.
Obviously, since this is not my code I can't be screwing this up. Right? I mean, it takes over my screen and input and I don't even see my App anymore. Certainly the code directly from the sample app isn't broken.
Need help from Ouya. This is kind of important. =/
